The Western world, enacting laws based on popular opinion rather than on truth, is tripping over it’s self-defeating new age, social justice philosophy. But luckily not everyone is blind to reality and logic, as you will see in this episode.

When Salman Rushdie wrote “The Satanic verses ” they bought the book and set it on fire. I forgot who said “when you burn books someday you will burn people”.
The secular culture cannot challenge Islam because its spineless.
Tim in Nigeria boko haram an Islamic splinter group seems to have declined as the bishop of the a major diocese responded to the vision of a sword being transformed into a Rosary. The only way to challenge Islam is on a supernatural level
    Keep up the good work

  2. Celtic barry Thanks, as always, for your comment and support.  I was aware of Boko Haram’s decline, following the mass recitation of the Rosary.  And I remember after the Bishop there spoke of the vision he says he had, and the Rosary was encouraged in his diocese, almost immediately there were news stories in secular media about Boko Haram’s decline.  Literally it began following the Bishop’s call to pray the Rosary.  I’ll never forget that.  The Rosary is powerful, and I beg everyone who reads this to make it a regular part of your spirituality, and of the spirituality of your families.

  3. Hi Cal and Tim U0001f601. Cal, you’re practically Catholic with the exception of your views on homosexuality and abortion. My knowledge of Europe comes from written history. From what I know the west came a long way from treating the poor and marginalized poorly to valuing them thanks to christianity. The modern culture is saturated with Christian values. Take away christianity and you’ll find you’re just as nuts as the ISIS rebel. Lol.
Explain to me how is killing a catholic the same as saying homosexuality is a mental illness. You actually put those two together… that’s a bit strange to me. Tell me Cal, when the gay male ejaculates in his partner’s anus, is the sperm cell homophobic for seeking out a human egg cell? Gay sex doesn’t make a lot of sense. In fact, it is very dysfunctional. It’s an act that does not respect the proper function of the human sexual body parts.

  4. AFlowerofStTherese  “The modern culture is saturated with Christian values. Take away Christianity and you’ll find you’re just as nuts as the ISIS rebel. Lol.”

I highly doubt that if we took out all the Christain values that exist in the UK we as a nation would start blowing ourselves up and chopping peoples heads off.

“Explain to me how is killing a catholic the same as saying homosexuality is a mental illness. You actually put those two together… that’s a bit strange to me”

I didn’t mean that they were the same, I was just giving examples of things that might be considered hate speech and those were the examples that popped into my head 🙂

“Tell me Cal, when the gay male ejaculates in his partner’s anus, is the sperm cell homophobic for seeking out a human egg cell? Gay sex doesn’t make a lot of sense. In fact, it is very dysfunctional. It’s an act that does not respect the proper function of the human sexual body parts”

Haha well no I don’t think the sperm is homophobic. I’m not sure what you mean by gay sex not making sense and homosexuality is part of the natural order so I reject the claim that it’s dysfunctional since homosexuality only exists because God made it so. What I do find quite strange is why you care about who is having sex and in what way. I mean, I don’t think gay people care about what straight people do in bed lol

Glad you’re enjoying the show 🙂

I’m replying to the last paragraph of your statement. God didn’t create homosexuality and we know this looking at nature in itself it’s procreation process. I’m not aware of any animal that complies with the behaviour. Procreation serves a positive purpose the ultimate investment in the future for the planet today’s children are tomorrow’s adults and future parents. I agree with your last sentence

  6. Celtic barry  For that to be true, that God didn’t create homosexuality, God would have to have made a mistake when he created certain people, didn’t know that some people would become gay or he didn’t have any hand in making people gay at all. Anyone of these cases means that God is not all knowing or not all powerful. If he is truly all knowing and all powerful, then implying that God either went “Whoops, dropped the ball on that one” or “Didn’t see that coming” when it comes to homosexuality doesn’t make any sense.

  7. Cal,
God made people and people make mistakes. Two of the characteristics associated with God are (a) All knowing (b) his gift to us of free will. Your heading towards predestination notion. There is no chromosome associated with same sex attractions within the genome because if there was don’t you think that science would have informed us?
    Nice to talk

  8. CalKane AFlowerofStTherese “I highly doubt that if we took out all the Christain values that exist in the UK we as a nation would start blowing ourselves up and chopping peoples heads off.”

Maybe not, but only because western culture is already formed by Christian values. But new evils are springing up, because of the Wests diminishment and subsequent removal of Christian values.  It’s what St. John Paul II called a culture of death.  Not just death of the body but death of human dignity.  What the culture has done with marriage/family, human sexuality, abortion, euthanasia, gender; how we place animals on par with, or above humans (that will lead to other evils against mankind, just wait and see).  We may not cut off heads or blow people up, but what we do instead is we surrender civility to the same barbarism of ancient pagan europe—where humans are negotiable and expendable, sex is glorified, false gods rule the will and desire of man (the god of the self, for one example), violence is glorified, animals are practically worshiped.  This is the cultural disorder that saw ancient civilizations go extinct, saw endless feuds, and perpetuated human suffering.  We have returned to pagan roots in the west, and we mask it under an edifice of civility.  That is the result of removing Christian values.

  9. Great show gents!  We are being sold a bill of goods by the p.c. sheriffs and the media is all in with it.  Let’s see a show of hands by all of those who were in total disbelief that the U.S. (and others) were “negotiating” with one of the main sponsors of terror, Iran.  Since that very moment, the escapades of the deal become clearer and clearer and our worst fears become confirmed.  Basically, we are toast if the queen of dems is elected.  I do not look forward to this persecution.  Time to get ready for Holy Mass.  God bless you all, and God especially bless Tim’s Vericast work this night and always!

  10. Catholic child
The fact that the media is trying to sell you a bill of goods doesn’t mean you have to buy it. The late Fr Benedict Groschel described” the media as a sewer”. Even a well presented sewer none the less. It’s more important to be ready for persecution than look forward to it. As bad as the press world is the political arena is more toxic.

  11. Hi Catholicchild, I don’t quite understand the post above, perhaps I’m missing something, could you help me understand the “that the U.S. (and others) were “negotiating” with one of the main sponsors of terror, Iran. Since that very moment, the escapades of the deal become clearer and clearer and our worst fears become confirmed.

  12. CalKane Celtic barry “For that to be true, that God didn’t create homosexuality, God would have to have made a mistake”
You try to do too much with too little information. God doesn’t create disordered behavior, or disordered dispositions. So we can start undoing your argument by throwing its erroneous foundation in the toilet.

“…didn’t know that some people would become gay or he didn’t have any”

Based on your erroneous foundation, so we can ignore that component.

“Anyone of these cases means that God is not all knowing or not all powerful.”

Based partially on your erroneous foundation, and partially on another error (your misapplication of “all knowing”) and partially based on logical fallacy (Presumptive argument).

Your whole argument is built from paper, not concrete.  You seem almost desperate to defend homosexuality.  Have you ever considered that maybe Catholics have this one right, too?
-Nothing in biology supports the secular claim, but it all supports the Church’s teaching.
-Nothing of human anatomy supports it, but it does support the Church’s teaching
-Nothing in human nature, or in the evolutionary record supports it, but it all supports the Church’s teaching
-Nothing in human physiology supports it, but it all supports the Church’s teaching.

Church teaching is a teaching of reality, not a teaching of concepts.  To hold a belief contrary to the Church’s teaching, a person is actually saying “I reject reality”. And we call those people insane.

Tim, homosexuality exists in people (that’s why they call it that) and biology  so I can’t even imagine what you’re talking about.  And I’m chasing you down the road of “God created every but not that” or into the “God knows everything but not that” swamp with the end result of me disagreeing , in your mind, being that I don’t understand what certain words mean 🙂

  14. CalKane JediMasterTim Celtic barry “Tim, homosexuality exists in people (that’s why they call it that) and biology”
So does alcoholism and pedophilia but we don’t call those natural, do we?
“I can’t even imagine what you’re talking about”
Don’t use your imagination, use your reason instead 😉

Sounds like we have a Facebook Fight going on the list!!!!!  😀

  15. Jedi Master Tim/cal
There a possibility for the unborn baby to develop alcohol/drug dependence only through the mothers lifestyle, If “homosexuality exists in people “Cal how did it get there? Which of the 46 chromosomes will carry that characteristic?

  16. Celtic barry  Honestly, I have no idea where homosexuality comes from. If I was to guess, I would say it’s some combination of nature and nurture. Like most things 🙂

  17. Nature and Nurture? Are you seriouse Cal? There are studies out there done on twins that confirms homosexuality is nurtured.
I finally watched the whole show. I feel for you man. You should consider changing your name. It’s too common. I’m going to post a link to a video on youtube of a muslim women giving a talk on islamophic. Obviously, she wasn’t raised in a country under Sharia law. It’s also difficult not to sympathise with her situation .
